What is a Firewise Community?
Firewise is a national program to strategically reduce the risk of wildfires in your neighborhood. Amador County alone has $2 million in funds to help pay for the cost of mitigating fires which will protect your home.
Fiddletown has 8 sectors identified for reducing fire risk AND to be eligible for funds for each one of those sectors separately. See Fiddletown Area FWC Sectors Map.
The following are the Leads for each sector. You may be asked to participate in your sector, and we hope you will consider pitching in to complete this certification process.
